Son Nguyen

Son Nguyen has a work experience starting in 2011 as a VMware/Datacenter Administrator at QSolv Inc. Son then transitioned to the role of Software Engineer at the same company in 2013. In this role, they implemented VMware ESXi infrastructure, deployed and configured VMware NSX Infrastructure, and automated the deployment and configuration of vSphere, NSX, and vRealize environments. Son Nguyen also worked at Facebook starting in 2018 as a System Virtualization Engineer.

Son Nguyen completed their high school education at School Without Walls from 2007 to 2009, obtaining a high school diploma. From 2009 to 2013, they attended SUNY Geneseo and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. In terms of additional certifications, Son became a VMware Certified Professional 6 in Data Center Virtualization in August 2016. Subsequently, in September 2016, they also obtained the VMware Certified Professional 6 certification in Cloud Management and Automation. Son further expanded their expertise by becoming a VMware Certified Professional 6 in Network Virtualization in April 2017. Finally, in August 2018, they achieved advanced certifications, including VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 in Network Virtualization Deployment and VMware Certified Implementation Expert 6 in Network Virtualization, both from VMware.
