Ben Taylor

Ben Taylor has a diverse work experience in teaching, data science, and product management. Ben worked as a Lead Teacher at Great Hearts Academies from 2018 to 2020. During their tenure, they managed the classroom, led readings of classical passages, and built long-lasting relationships with students. Ben worked as a Data Scientist Fellow at Springboard from March 2020 to November 2020. Ben analyzed and predicted which students will succeed in school in Pakistan's poorest province using Learning and Education Achievements in Punjab Schools (LEAPS) datasets. Ben also worked as a Product Owner at Learnatric from January 2021 to February 2022. Ben translated educational principles into web apps with a tagging system and optimized features in a fast-paced environment. Currently, Ben works as a Business Insights Product Manager at QsrSoft after joining in February 2022. Ben works with customers to onboard and understand their analytics needs and builds the Advanced Analytics backlog from customer feedback.

Ben Taylor began their education in 2011 when they enrolled in Lee University where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016. Ben double majored in Psychology and Biblical and Theological Studies. From 2016 to 2018, they pursued a higher education degree at Yale Divinity School, where they earned their Master of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies. In 2020, they enrolled in Springboard and earned their Data Science Career Track Certificate. Ben also holds additional certifications in Advanced SQL for Data Scientists, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from LinkedIn and Amazon Web Services (AWS) respectively.
