Neil McDonagh currently serves as the Director of Utilities for Europe at QTS Data Centers since January 2025. Prior experience includes working as the Energy Infrastructure Manager for EMEA and APAC at Meta from October 2017 to December 2024, and as Head of Power for Ireland at AECOM from July 2013 to October 2017. Neil's career commenced at ESB International, where Neil served as a Consultant Engineer from March 2004 to June 2013. This role involved leading a team within the Power System Studies Group. Additionally, Neil contributed to academia as a Distance Learning Tutor for MSc students at the University of Bath from March 2010 to December 2012. Academic qualifications include a BE in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin, an MSc in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Bath, and an MBA from the University of Bradford.
