Tieara Long

Tieara Long, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of Technology Strategy & Operations at QTS Data Centers, a position held since February 2021, following roles as Strategy and Operations Manager and Project Manager II - Infrastructure. Prior to this, Tieara Long was with the US Navy from February 2016 to January 2021, where significant responsibilities included managing 30 staff members and over 600 sailors' transitions to overseas locations and overseeing a budget of $375,000. As the Reactor Mechanical Division Officer, leadership extended to a division of 50 nuclear-qualified mechanics during critical maintenance of the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON. Earlier military experience included roles as First Lieutenant Officer, successfully leading operations teams, and training in Naval Nuclear Propulsion. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy.
