Sylvain Gourvil

Sylvain Gourvil has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Sylvain started their career at French Antique Dealers as a PHP5 / Postgresql Developer from March 2005 to October 2005. Sylvain then worked at Fotovista as a Php Developer for Bouygues Telecom e-commerce website from November 2005 to September 2006 and later as a Php5/Oracle developer in Research & Development from September 2006 to March 2007.

From March 2007 to July 2010, Sylvain worked at Mediasmart as a Senior Web Developer and Team Lead, both locally and nearshore. Sylvain then worked as a freelance Ecommerce PM and Symfony/Magento Lead Developer from May 2010 to November 2019.

Since July 2012, Sylvain has been a Co-Founder and CTO at QUABLE, an editor of a SaaS Product Information Manager (PIM). In this role, they have been responsible for service and education management, supporting users throughout the enrichment process within a multichannel strategy.

Sylvain Gourvil's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Université Rennes 2 and pursued their IUT degree in Science Computing. Sylvain completed this program in 2002. In the following year, from 2002 to 2003, they studied at the University of South Brittany, where they obtained a Licence in Commerce Electronique. Afterwards, they enrolled at Heriot-Watt University from 2003 to 2004 to pursue a BBA in Business Management with a specialization in International Marketing.
