Heide Kraus, CMP, is a dynamic and experienced meetings professional with a career spanning several key roles in event management and corporate planning. Currently serving as Congress Meetings Manager at Maritz Global Events since March 2023, Kraus previously held the position of Events Manager at CaptionCall by Sorenson, where a focus on achieving impactful events led to significant sales prospects while providing essential communication solutions for individuals with hearing loss. Prior experience includes positions such as Corporate Meeting Planner at CHG Healthcare Services, where successful educational and engagement events were orchestrated, and Director of Meetings & Education Programs at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, managing educational initiatives. Additionally, Kraus has served as President of the MPI - Utah Chapter, promoting professional development within the meetings industry. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BA in Journalism/Public Relations, Kraus combines a strong educational background with extensive expertise in managing complex projects and events.
