Fred Ritz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Fred started their career at Data Switch Corporation in 1988 as a Manufacturing Engineer and worked there until 1995. From 1995 to 1999, they were a Principal Manufacturing Engineer & Group Leader at INRANGE Technologies Corporation. Fred then joined CiDRA in 1999 as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, specializing in fiber optic systems for the oil and gas industry. In 1999, they also joined Ascom as a Manager, focusing on Quality Control & Manufacturing Engineering until 2003. Since 2003, Fred has been with Quadient, where they initially served as a Manager, Technical Operations until 2006. Fred then became the Manager, Product Engineering until 2008, before being promoted to Director, Product Engineering & Quality Assurance until 2021. Currently, Fred holds the position of Vice President NORAM Field Service at Quadient, where they lead North American Field Service Operations and Technical Support Competency Centers since February 2021.
Fred Ritz has an M.S. degree in Management of Technology from Fairfield University. Fred also holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven. In addition, they have completed coursework in Industrial Engineering and Information Systems at Northeastern University. Fred has obtained certifications in Agile Management and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University, in the years 2020 and 2016 respectively.
