Ted Wentz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ted is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Quadratec, a position they have held since October 2017. Prior to that, they were the Founder and President of FireCraft, Inc., a multichannel retailer and wholesaler of BBQ grills and accessories, from January 2010 to September 2017. Ted also worked at Quadratec, Inc. as a Management Associate from June 2008 to December 2009. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Toyota Motor Sales, where they worked as a Marketing Summer Associate in 2007, and at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, where they served as the Chairman of the Pandemic Influenza Task Force in 2006. Additionally, Ted worked as a Staff Assistant to the Office of the Assistant Secretary in 2005 and as the Deputy for the Alien Flight Student Program from 2003 to 2004.
Ted Wentz pursued their higher education with dedication and focus, starting with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. This educational journey took place between 1998 and 2002. Later, Ted embarked on a new chapter in their academic life as they enrolled at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they pursued an MBA and specialized in Marketing & Entrepreneurship, further expanding their knowledge and expertise in these fields.
