Matthew Houde

Co-Founder at Quaise

Matthew Houde is the Co-founder of Quaise. Prior to this, they worked as a contractor for AltaRock Energy, where they were successful in applying for a multi-million dollar award from the DOE to fund research on novel deep drilling technology. Matthew has also interned with Ormat Technologies, Inc. where they supported staff geologists in developing geologic models for interpretation of geothermal systems. In addition, they have also worked as an Engineering Mechanics R&D Assistant for Sonoco and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Matthew Houde has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, a Bachelor of Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Certificate of Proficiency in Overseas Studies from The University of Auckland.

Matthew Houde reports to Carlos Araque, CEO. They work with Andres Calabressi - Project Manager, Stephen Jeske - Project Manager, and Franck Monmont - VP Research.
