Andrew Chiu is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in imaging and camera technology development. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Qualcomm since May 2003, Andrew has led various projects focusing on smartphone camera, ISP technology, and IoT systems incorporating computer vision and machine learning. Prior to Qualcomm, Andrew worked as an Imaging R&D Manager at Sony Electronics from October 1993 to May 2003, and earlier held a position as a System Engineer at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs. Andrew Chiu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
