Aveek Chatterjee

Aveek Chatterjee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Director at Qualcomm since October 2016, Aveek leads novel Nano-Field-effect-Transistor technology initiatives and has implemented effective change management processes. Previous roles include Staff Program Manager, where success was achieved in the physical design and tape-out of advanced SoCs, and Senior Program Manager, where over 400 high-quality IPs were delivered on time and within budget. Prior experience includes principal engineering at FTD Solutions focusing on MEMS design, technical leadership at IBM for solar-powered data centers, and several engineering roles at GE involving solar technology. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Nanotechnology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of London. Currently, Aveek is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin.
