Christopher Aumann is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in firmware development, currently serving as Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. since November 2004. Aumann specializes in 5G-NR physical layer firmware for various generations of WWAN modems, contributing to the successful launch of the X50, X55, X65, and X75 series. Previous roles include Staff Firmware Engineer at Maxtor Corporation, where Aumann developed firmware for desktop hard disk drives, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder, focusing on digital logic design education.
