Dan Welch is currently the VP of Finance at Qualcomm. Dan has over 25 years of experience in finance and strategic planning.

Dan Welch began their career as a professional athlete with the Philadelphia Phillies from 1989-1991. Dan then transitioned into the telecommunications industry, working for Sprint from 1992-2008. During their time at Sprint, they served as the Sr. Vice President of Financial Operations and was responsible for leading the company's driver based forecasting initiative. Dan also developed a framework to optimize Sprint's wireless network across multiple brands, which improved the company's return on investment.

While at Sprint, Welch earned top 10% feedback scores from their team of 800 associates during times of high stress and significant staff reductions. In 2008, they left Sprint to join Qualcomm, where they have served as the VP of Finance for the past 12 years. Welch has been instrumental in Qualcomms' growth and financial success, and they continue to be a leader in the telecommunications industry.

Dan Welch received their Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business with a focus in leadership development. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in economics and finance at Christian Brothers University.
