Ed Castro

Ed Castro is a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in security architecture and technology management. Currently serving as Principal Architect at Qualcomm since February 2019, Ed previously held the position of IT Security Architect at Viasat Inc. from February 2018 to February 2019. Ed's tenure at Qualcomm began in April 2008 as a Senior Staff IT Security Engineer, where leadership capabilities were demonstrated as APAC Lead. Other roles include Manager Technology at American Document Management, Senior Database Architect at DeltaVacations.com, Director IT at InterDuty Free LTD, and Manager IT at Wells Fargo Investigative Services. Ed began the career as a Network Engineer at TPS. Ed holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Roehampton.
