Edward Chan

Edward Chan is a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm, where they have worked since 2010 in the Office of the Chief Scientist within Corporate R&D. Previously, Edward was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, focusing on wireless and optical communications, and served as a Photonics Design Engineer at DigiLens, designing optical components. Edward also gained experience as a Signal Integrity Engineer at NVIDIA and as a Senior Staff Engineer at Intel Corporation. They earned both a PhD and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, completing the latter in 1994 and the former in 1999.
