Hemanth Sampath

Hemanth Sampath is currently the VP of Engineering at Qualcomm, where they drive the expansion of 5G into new use cases such as XR/Metaverse and cloud gaming. They previously served in various engineering and leadership roles at Qualcomm, contributing to the development of key technologies like 4G UMB and 802.11ac. Hemanth started their career as a Technologist at Iospan Wireless, a Stanford startup, and later worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor. They completed their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Wireless Communications from Stanford University.
