Jim Stephens

Jim Stephens is a SoC security architect at Qualcomm, where they have worked since 2021 as a Principal Engineer. They have a strong background in security architecture, digital IP design, digital signal processing, and embedded software development. Prior to their current role, Jim held positions including Senior Staff Architect at Microchip Technology Inc. from 2017 to 2021, and Staff Engineer at Motorola from 1990 to 1999. Jim earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989.
