John Bruno, P. Eng. is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in system architecture and ASIC design. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm since March 2021, John previously founded NUVIA Inc. and held the role of Senior Vice President of System Engineering. Additional experience includes positions at Google and Apple as a System Architect, and a significant tenure at Advanced Micro Devices, where key contributions included defining the 2012 Comal platform and leading the architectural development of multiple Integrated Graphics Processor Northbridges. Earlier in his career, John made impactful contributions at ATI Technologies Inc. as an ASIC Design Manager and Project Team Leader, overseeing a range of mobile GPU projects. John holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
