Josef Wells

Josef Wells is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of electrical and computer engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm since October 2010, Josef leads a team focused on automation, release management, and DevOps for the Hexagon DSP team in Austin. Prior to this role, Josef worked as a Systems Engineer at MediaTek from January 2008 to September 2010, specializing in internal tool development for architecture and verification methodologies. Josef's career began at Analog Devices Inc., where from August 1997 to January 2008, work involved Verilog RTL design and verification, software engineering, and IT support. Early experience includes a co-op position centered on DSP assembly tests and a consultancy role at Moore Works, assisting clients with computer-related issues. Josef holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2000.
