Kai Deng is a team lead in Power Management IC validation and automated test engineering. Previously, they held roles as a Staff Engineer/Manager and Sr. Staff Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm from 2011 to 2018, where they led a verification and integration team to ensure system performance of PMIC products. Before that, Kai worked at IBM as a Power System Engineer, contributing to the development and testing of power supplies for IBM storage systems from 2010 to 2011. Their earlier experience includes an internship at Link-quest Inc in 2008 and a position as a Research Assistant at The University of Arizona between 2005 and 2009. Currently, Kai is pursuing multiple advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering, Modern Applied Physics, and Mechatronics.
