Laura Sand

Laura Sand is currently the SVP, Legal Counsel at Qualcomm. Laura has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer, and has worked for some of the top law firms in the country. Laura began their career as an associate at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, where they worked for six years before moving to Morrison and Foerster. Laura was at Morrison and Foerster for less than a year before moving to their current position at Qualcomm.

Laura Sand attended the University of Iowa for their undergraduate degree, where they studied psychology. Laura then went on to attend Uof Iowa Law School, where they earned their J.D.

They work with Fabian Gonell - SVP, Licensing Strategy & Legal Counsel, Deborah Barrett - VP & Chief Compliance Officer, and Laurie Self - SVP & Counsel, Government Affairs. Their manager is Ann Chaplin, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Qualcomm Incorporated.
