Lucian Codrescu

Lucian Codrescu is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Since August 2004, Lucian has served as VP of Technology at Qualcomm, where leadership of Hexagon processor development has resulted in the creation of an industry-leading NPU, which began as an Audio DSP for the first Snapdragon device and has evolved to support over 20 billion cores across mobile, automotive, PC, and XR applications. Prior to Qualcomm, Lucian held the position of Sr. Director, focusing on architecture and management for Hexagon DSP, and gained additional experience as a Staff Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor and as a Sr. Engineer at Motorola. Lucian began a career in engineering at GE Fanuc and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
