Lynus Vaz has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in firmware and software development for graphics processing units. Between June 2015 and October 2016, Lynus served as a Senior Engineer at Nvidia, focusing on firmware development. Previous roles include a Google Summer of Code 2009 Student working on the Etherboot Project, a Software Engineer at Redpine Signals, and an intern at STMicroelectronics. Lynus spent a significant period at Qualcomm from November 2016 to December 2018, advancing to Lead Engineer while working on Adreno GPU device drivers and the OpenGLES stack. Since May 2021, Lynus has held the position of Staff Engineer at Qualcomm. Academically, Lynus obtained a Master of Science in Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Master of Science in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University.
