Michael Kongelf is a Senior Director of Technology at Qualcomm, where they currently serve as an architect for the next generation AI/ML inference chip. With over 25 years of experience in both R&D and production environments, they have previously held various engineering roles at Qualcomm, including Senior Staff Engineer and Principal Engineer, where they contributed to the design and implementation of critical modem technologies. Michael’s strong technical background in hardware and software enables them to effectively lead high-performing teams and innovate in the fields of Machine Learning, AI, and mobile systems. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Montana State University-Bozeman.
