Michael Taveira is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in patent prosecution and litigation management. Currently serving as Senior Patent Counsel at Qualcomm since February 2014, Taveira specializes in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. Taveira also co-owns Novilhos, an authentic Brazilian steakhouse, since October 2010. Prior to Qualcomm, Taveira practiced law as an attorney at Foley & Lardner from September 2007 to January 2014, focusing on patent prosecution for major corporations in various technological fields. Taveira holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Columbia Engineering and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School.
