Michael Zhu

Michael Zhu is an experienced Sr. Design and Verification Engineer with a robust background in SoC design and verification, script writing, and hardware debugging. Currently employed at Qualcomm since June 2015, responsibilities include architecting and implementing UVM test benches for GPU SoC designs and conducting comprehensive verification processes. Michael's expertise spans various high-speed protocols including AXI, DDR3, and PCIe, utilizing methodologies such as Coverage Driven Verification and Constrained Random Test Generation. Prior roles include project management at MZ Consulting and staff design verification engineer positions at Qualcomm and Cisco, where contributions included FPGA emulation and verification of network and GPU subsystems. Michael holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
