Patrick Chan is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in Wi-Fi and connectivity technologies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm since May 2011, Patrick leads the development of next-generation Wi-Fi chipsets and has a proven track record of spearheading significant architectural improvements in Wi-Fi 7 IP development. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer at Qualcomm, where Patrick played a key role in launching industry-first Wi-Fi projects and managing multi-site teams for VLSI implementations. Previously, Patrick held engineering management positions at Atheros Communications, SiNett, and Mindspeed Technologies, contributing to various innovative projects and products in wireless and wired technologies. Patrick holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
