Ray McCarthy has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm since December 2017. Prior roles at Qualcomm included Director of Engineering and Senior Staff Engineer/Manager. Prior to Qualcomm, Ray worked at Parade Technology Ltd. as a Firmware Engineer, focusing on ARM Cortex M0+ based projects and firmware development. Ray's career also includes significant roles at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation as a Lead Embedded Systems Engineer and Project Manager for fingerprint products and at Analog Devices as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included mixed signal simulation and embedded firmware development. Ray holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Munster Technological University.
