Robert Young is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as VP of Technology at Qualcomm since March 2022, Robert previously held the position of CTO at Palma Ceia SemiDesign from November 2020 to February 2022 and worked as an independent consultant from November 2019 to October 2020. Prior to that, Robert was CTO at Neul, Huawei R&D UK from September 2014 to September 2019, and co-founded Neul, where responsibilities included Co-Founder & VP of Systems & Silicon and Co-Founder & VP of Engineering from September 2010 to September 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as Co-Founder & VP of Chip Design at CSR from April 1999 to May 2010 and working as a consultant in various roles at Cambridge Consultants from September 1993 to April 1999. Robert holds both a MA and a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1988 and 1993.
