Manager, People Analytics at Qualcomm

Ryan Mills is the Manager of People Analytics at Qualcomm. Ryan has over ten years of experience in the human resources field. Ryan began their career as an HR Intern at BMT Scientific Marine Services, where they organized and implemented the Affirmative Action Plan. Ryan then researched employment law in various HR cases and managed the employee record-keeping system.

In 2007, Ryan began working as a Research Methods Lab Instructor at San Diego State University. Ryan trained undergraduate students to write technical research reports and directed students in survey design and analysis. Ryan was also selected by their Advisor to prepare the course text for publication.

In 2010, Ryan began working at Qualcomm as an HR Generalist. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, policy administration, and investigations. Ryan also worked closely with the recruiting team to identify top talent for Qualcomm.

In 2014, Ryan was promoted to Manager of People Analytics. In this role, they lead a team of analysts who provide insights on Qualcomm’s workforce. Ryan also designs and implements programs to improve employee engagement and retention.

Ryan Mills completed their Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at San Diego State University. Ryan also holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Ryan Mills reports to Pam Sauter, SVP, Human Resources. Ryan Mills works with Sarah Ridley - Director, Talent Acquisition, Ram Vadivelu - Senior Director, Talent, Workforce Analysis, HRBP, and Pooja Joshi - Director, Talent Acquisition.
