Sanjay Shankar

Sanjay Shankar is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Qualcomm, where they have worked since 2014 after progressing through various roles within the company. Prior to this, they held senior management positions in software engineering at companies such as Entropic Communications, NXP Semiconductors, and Trident Microsystems, where they were responsible for developing advanced system solutions and leading significant teams. Sanjay began their career as a Research Engineer at C-DOT and has accumulated extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership across multiple technology sectors. They earned a B.E. in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and an M.Tech in Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
