Simon Brand

Simon Brand is an experienced professional in product management and technical marketing, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Management at Qualcomm since May 2011, focusing on networking products for both consumer and enterprise applications. Prior to this role, Simon held positions at Atheros Communications as Senior Director of Solutions Marketing, and at ST-Ericsson as a Fellow, where responsibilities included supporting the introduction of new modem technologies like LTE and HSPA+. Simon's earlier career includes significant roles at NXP Semiconductors, where work involved LTE and WiMAX architecture and requirements analysis, as well as a position at PHILIPS Semiconductor concentrating on systems architecture. Simon Brand holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, earned between 1981 and 1988.
