Steven Thiel

Steven Thiel is a Senior Patent Counsel at Qualcomm, where they manage the Local Area Connectivity/Networking Patent Team and serve as one of the attorney leads for the 5G Wireless Communication Patent Team. Previously, they held positions as an Associate Attorney at Rader, Fishman & Grauer, and as an attorney at Flynn, Thiel, Boutell & Tanis, P.C. Steven began their legal career as a Law Clerk at Cushman, Darby & Cushman, focusing on intellectual property law, and earned a Doctor of Law from the American University, Washington College of Law, after obtaining a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
