Thomas Stockhammer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical standards and research. They served as Senior Director of Technical Standards at Qualcomm from 2014 to 2022 and held leadership roles in various organizations, including CEO of Nomor Research GmbH from 2004 to 2014 and positions at Siemens Mobile Devices and Digital Fountain. Currently, Thomas is a member of the 5G-MAG Steering Group and the Board of Directors for the Metaverse Standards Forum, as well as co-chairing the Standards Register Working Group for the forum. They have made significant contributions to the DVB project, ITU-T, and 3GPP among other groups throughout their career.
