Yuqing Shi

Yuqing Shi is a Staff Software Engineer at Qualcomm, where they have been part of the GPU Compiler team since 2021, focusing on the DX frontend and middle end of the Adreno GPU Compiler. From 2015 to 2021, Yuqing contributed as a major developer of the AMD Metal LLVM compiler backend and driver while working on Apple's Metal API. They began their journey in 2013 with an internship at Fusion-io and later served as a lab assistant at Northeastern University, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering. Yuqing also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Engineering from Southeast University.
