Zongjun Qi is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Qualcomm, Inc. since September 2016, Zongjun has been instrumental in migrating IZat server deployments to AWS. Prior to this role, Zongjun was a Staff Software Engineer at Qualcomm from August 2006, focusing on WIFI indoor positioning and large-scale crowd-sourcing server development, as well as QChat server development. Zongjun also held the position of Senior Backend Software Engineer at Particle Media, Inc. from October 2015 to September 2016, overseeing big data processing and implementing end-to-end data flows for mobile applications. Earlier, Zongjun was the R&D Manager at Beijing Capitel Co. Ltd. from April 2000 to July 2004, leading the development of VOIP solutions. Zongjun holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
