Blake Area

Blake Area is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at QualDerm Partners since April 2025. Prior to this role, Blake was the Vice President of Experience (Marketing) at Wellvana, where responsibilities included leading growth marketing, paid media, lead generation, and patient experience. At SmileDirectClub, from January 2017 to December 2023, Blake held multiple leadership positions including Vice President of Digital Experience & CRM, overseeing a global team and managing significant D2C sales and marketing budgets. Blake also contributed to the company's growth as Sr. Director and Director of CRM. Earlier experience includes a position at Emma, Inc. as Sr. Manager of Retail Partners and an MBA Marketing Internship at PayPal. Blake holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management and a BSBA in Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas.
