Marisa Guardiola

Marisa Guardiola has a long and varied work experience. Marisa began their career in 2000 as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at CSIC. From 2001-2009, they worked at Prous Science, initially as an Analyst of scientific literature, then as a Senior Analyst of patents, and finally as a Team Lead of Drug&Patent Information. From 2009-2016, they worked at Thomson Reuters, first as a Manager of Content Ingest, IP & Science, then as a Life Sciences IP Manager, and finally as a Manager of Drug&Patent Information. From 2016-2022, they worked at Clarivate as a Product Owner of Web Scraping solutions and Head of Content Acquisition. Currently, they are a Product Owner at Qualifyze, responsible for a platform supporting the pharma industry auditing process.

Marisa Guardiola's education history began in 1989 when they obtained a Graduate degree in Organic Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona. Marisa then went on to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry from CSIC from 1994 to 2000. In 1999, they obtained a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Utah. In 2011, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma certification from Thomson Reuters in Operational Improvement.
