Michael Gleeson is currently the Vice President of Operations at Qualinx B.V., a position they have held since 2023. Previously, they served as a Manufacturing and Assembly Manager and later Head of Production at Eblana Photonics Ltd from 2014 to 2018, and as a Research Fellow at both Tyndall National Institute (2012-2014) and Bayer Material Science Private Limited (2008-2011). Michael earned a PhD in Photonics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University College Dublin, completing the latter in 2003. Prior to their industry roles, they were an IRCSET Postdoctoral researcher at NUI from 2011 to 2012.
