Albert Franquesa has been working in the IT industry since 1994. Albert began their career as a Software Developer at IBM and then moved on to become an Analyst - Project Manager at Deutsche Bank in 1997. In 2002, they became the IT Service Desk Manager at ANCERT. In 2005, they joined GFT Group as a Practice Manager & Business Development and Delivery Manager at GFT - UK Client Unit. In 2016, they became the Coordinator of ProCat UK - Catalan professional network in UK. Finally, in 2017, they became the CEO and co-founder of Quality Clouds.
Albert Franquesa has a long history of education. Albert obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1993, and a Bachelor in Computer Science from University College Cork in Ireland in the same year. In 2005-2006, they obtained a MISM in Information Technology from Universitat Ramon Llull. Albert also obtained a Computer Engineer degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1993. Prior to that, they attended Academia Granés from 1983-1987. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: ITIL Foundation v3 from PeopleCert in 2011 and IT in Investment Operations from Securities & Investment Institute - London in 2008.
