Juan Manuel Barrera has over 16 years of work experience in the IT and business process management sectors. In 2020, they began working as the Director of Business Processes at Quality & Knowledge On IT Service, where they are responsible for managing customer relations on process and technological integration projects, identifying customer needs, coordinating, planning, and executing technological implementations and architectural business projects, and defining strategies for management, operation, methodology, and implementation of projects and services related to processes and technology.

In 2019, they worked as a Business Process Director at Beeitpro Consulting, where they were responsible for strategic alignment and process improvement to create process architecture solutions, design and integration of the Business Capability Model to Aris Process Platform, and strategic alignment and process improvement to create the process architecture solutions.

In 2018, they worked as a Business Process Management at Constellation Brands, where they were responsible for preserving, documenting, and updating the knowledge base of business processes, strategic alignment and process improvement to create the process architecture solutions, and establishing standards and conventions for the To Be process operations in ARIS.

In 2017, they worked as a Project Leader at the Secretaría de Economía México, where they were responsible for supporting the design of process architecture proposed for the integration of the Integral System of Mining Administration of the General Directorate of Mines - México, and performing fit and gap analysis of the current situation of the project integration of system and findings of the actual situation of the integration.

In 2013, they worked as a Project Manager Business Architect - ARIS at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they were responsible for Business Process Architecture and Organizational Transformation of the Shared Services Center (CSC), based on the Business Architecture Analysis of ARIS platform (BPA), design, assessment and Business Process Management of Logistics (LOG), Procure to Pay (PTP), Account to Report (ATR) Master Data Management (MDM) and Procurement Center (PC), and development of business solutions by process, people & technology.

In 2011, they worked as a Process and Technology Senior Consultant at Grupo ASSA, where they were responsible for design, assessment and Business Process Management, configuration and management of ARIS Business Server and Architect 7.1 manage templates, filters, methods, attributes and symbols.

In 2010, they worked as a Senior Consultant at VC Consultoría Estratégica SC, where they were responsible for process improvement, process architecture design and documentation of processes with ARIS platform and methodology, enforcement of business process architecture, through modeling standards, procedures and methodology ARIS and Rummler Brache, and Instituto Nacional de Avaluos de Bienes Nacionales (INDAABIN), Secretaria de la Funcion Publica (SFP) and Servicios de Salud del Estado de Chihuahua (SES).

Juan Manuel Barrera received their Industrial Engineer degree from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. In 2016, they completed a Process Architecture and Corporate Governance Focused on GRC course at BAKER TILLY and a Professional of Governance Risk and Compliance - GRC course at the same institution. In 2013, they obtained a Certified ARIS Business Architect Professional certification from Software AG and a Certified ARIS Business Designer Professional certification from the same institution.
