Rick Duncan

Rick Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Network Administrator for the United States Marine Corps until 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they served as a Project Manager at Connecting Point Computer Center. In 2015, they joined Insight Global as an Enterprise Service Desk personnel before working as an Enterprise Technical Support Admin at Onslow Memorial Hospital from 2015 to 2020. In 2020, they transitioned to Quality Chemical Laboratories as an Information Technology Associate and later became a Network Operations Supervisor in 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Network Engineer at Bit Insight Group from 2021 to 2022, and currently holds the position of Network Engineer at Open Grid Technology.

Rick Duncan began their education in 2012 at Coastal Carolina Community College, where they obtained an Associate Applied Science degree in Network Technology in 2015. Alongside their college education, from 2013 to 2015, they attended the Cisco Networking Academy and completed coursework focused on Routing and Switching. In 2014, they obtained the MTA: Networking Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Continuing their education, in 2022, Rick obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. Furthermore, in the same year, they also achieved the CCNA certification from Cisco.
