John Cooper

John Cooper is a Data Scientist currently employed at Qualtrics since September 2025. Prior to this role, John worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from June 2022 to September 2025, where responsibilities included developing and facilitating continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of deep learning models, leading research development in deep learning methods for mass spectrometry, and coordinating interdisciplinary research proposals. Earlier experience as a Masters Intern involved leading the research and development of transformer-based deep learning models, specifically for mass spectrometry and signal analysis. John holds a Master of Science in Statistics from San José State University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from UC San Diego.
