Amol Ubale is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and security solutions. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Qualys since December 2014, Amol has led the creation of a groundbreaking Cloud agent with over 100 million deployments and built a high-performing team dedicated to the development of a robust "single agent" supporting various Qualys modules. Previous roles at Qualys include Director of Engineering, Senior Manager, Engineering Manager, and Principal Engineer, focusing on Linux cloud agent development. Prior to Qualys, Amol held several positions at Symantec, contributing to network security and mail security solutions, and has a background in software engineering with stints at Computer Associates, IBM, and QVIT. Amol holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical from Amravati University.
