Tom Plane

Tom Plane is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems administration and technical leadership. Currently serving as Lead, Systems Administrator at Qualys since November 2014, Tom manages a range of technologies including VMware, Nutanix, Veeam, and PowerShell, as well as network administration and troubleshooting across various platforms. Prior to Qualys, Tom held several roles at mBlox from June 2005 to March 2014, where responsibilities included managing a global server infrastructure and serving as the technical lead on multiple projects. Tom's career began in systems administration at Olympic Restoration from September 2001 to May 2005, where sole IT responsibilities were handled across multiple locations. Tom’s educational background includes time in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1991.
