Ross Taylor is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering, robotics, and computer vision. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Quanergy since January 2014, Ross manages the software engineering team and provides strategic leadership while leveraging expertise in Lidar technology. Previously, Ross held significant roles including Director of Software R&D and Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Quanergy, where contributions included developing core perception technologies and flexible software architectures. Prior experiences include key positions at Aerodyne Industries, NEPTEC USA INC., and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin. Ross holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
