Alexandre Halbach

Alexandre Halbach is an accomplished technology professional with a diverse background in electrical and electronics engineering, specializing in simulations and device design. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Quanscient since November 2021, Alexandre focuses on leveraging cloud and quantum computing for enhanced multi-physics simulations. Previous experiences include a postdoctoral researcher role at Tampere University, where the design of HTS superconducting particle accelerator magnets was undertaken in collaboration with CERN. Alexandre also worked as a MEMS design engineer at imec, creating a variety of microdevices and performing advanced finite element simulations. Alexandre holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Université de Liège, as well as a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution. Notable internships include positions at Procter & Gamble, IBM, Alco Controls, and Emerson Climate Technologies, contributing to R&D and quality assurance processes.
