Albert Steppi

Albert Steppi has diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, machine learning, and scientific research. Albert currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Quansight starting from April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Lendbuzz from November 2021 to April 2023. Before their role at Lendbuzz, Albert was a Scientific Software Developer at Harvard Medical School from July 2018 to November 2021. Albert also worked as a Software Developer at Pevals LLC from May 2017 to July 2018. Albert began their professional journey as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida State University, where they worked from August 2013 to May 2018.

Albert Steppi received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida in 2008. Albert then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics at Duke University from 2008 to 2010, but did not complete it. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida from 2011 to 2013. Finally, Albert completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics from Florida State University from 2013 to 2018.
