Andy Maloney

Andy Maloney has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science and software engineering. Andy is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist and Software Engineer at Quansight since February 2020. Prior to this, Andy worked as a Senior Data Scientist at SubjectWell from July 2019 to January 2020. Andy also held the position of Data Scientist at REX from September 2017 to June 2019 and at Bold Metrics Inc. from March 2016 to September 2017. Before transitioning to industry, Andy gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin and completed two different fellowships there from August 2011 to June 2015 and from July 2014 to March 2016. In addition, they worked as a Data Scientist at Get Smart Content from January 2014 to March 2015, at W2O Group from March 2013 to January 2014, at AuManil from March 2012 to March 2013, and at Ravel from March 2011 to October 2011. Andy began their career as a Graduate Researcher at The University of New Mexico and completed two research roles there from May 2005 to July 2008 and from August 2008 to May 2011.

Andy Maloney received a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin in 2004. Andy then went on to earn a Master's degree in Physics from The University of New Mexico, completing their studies in 2008. Andy further pursued their education at The University of New Mexico and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics in 2011.
