Daniel van Tassell

Daniel Van Tassell is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Hadrius since January 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at TrueNorth from December 2020 to May 2023, including Engineering Manager, Team Lead, and Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included managing engineering teams, aligning engineering initiatives with company goals, and making long-term technical decisions. Daniel’s extensive background also includes positions as Principal Engineer at L3 Technologies, Senior Software Engineer at multiple companies including HireVue, Nav Inc., Artemis Health Inc., TrueVault, and Appurify, where contributions ranged from backend feature development to API design and implementation. Daniel's career began at Zynga as a Software Engineer and includes a foundational internship at the SCI Institute, University of Utah. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
